Unlimited
Artist: Dr. Awkward
Released online April 2010
Running time: 54:08
Doc Awk’s unbelievable, brand new, full-length album is here and ready to change what you think about Hip Hop and R&B music.
This release has 15 complete songs that deal with the truly important issues of life, teaches you how to party the Awkward way, and also entertains you with references to the nerdy side including anime, gaming, and even Kung Fu. You’ll even find an anthem for dudes that go hunting for cougars. No, not the animal. Well… I mean… *ahem*
Three-fourths Hip Hop, one fourth R&B, this landmark project shows plenty of versatility and an immense amount of growth in Dr. Awkwards already impressive skill set.

ALBUM THANKS FROM DOC
“First and foremost, I’d like to thank my family for putting up with this long process, and the annoying amount of time I spend talking about my “new song” or “great new hook.” Thank you to my beautiful wife for always remaining supportive and always giving me that little bit of confidence when I can’t seem to find it myself. Thanks to my little guy for being my #1 fan and constantly requesting “The Docta Show,” and singing along to my music in the car seat. I love you both more than anything.
Next I’d like to thank Scrub Club for giving me the opportunity to make music and release it to a broader audience. I appreciate all of your support and friendship; it means a whole lot to me. Special thanks to Deafinition for being there to critique my work and give me much needed advice, and also for doing a complete mix of my album for reference tracks in two nights. You’re awesome, man. Thanks go out to Soup Dogg for the verse and Untested Methods for taking Geekuilibrium and completely reinventing it, it is truly a work of beauty! Another thanks goes out to MadHatter for everything from album art to my website, you’re the best, man, couldn’t have done this without you.
Album art brings me to my next thanks, which goes to Phil Fensterer of Creative Schism (Phil’s official site) (Phil’s DeviantArt page) for the beautiful cover piece titled “Rebirth.” It is a stunning piece of art and I am so thankful that Phil was kind enough to allow me to use this masterpiece. Thank you so much!
Next up is HT of Studio 6 – Port Orange, FL for mixing and mastering my entire album and making it sound amazing! You sir are a master of your art. Thank You for again making my stuff audible!
Last but definitely not least is the listeners, all my fans! Thank you so so so so much! You are all incredible and I really can’t express how much love I have for each and every one of you. It means the world to me that you listen to me try to rhyme and sing. Your support and love is incredible and I consider you all friends and family. Thank you Again!”

Hell yeah, personally, I feel this right on par with Next Gen, as much as that EP had to offer, but it goes way above and beyond even what that started. Thanks for checking it out.

No doubt, thanks for listening, Exeterhomie. We will continue to do so for the next millenia or so!

Man, I thought Next Gen was one of the best albums I heard, sadly it was short. Once I heard Unlimited and I didn’t even know what to do. I find myself wondering what I should listen to and it’s just been coming back to this album over and over again. It’s truly an inspiring work. Keep this shit comin’ Doc.

Been playing this album at work in the warehouse, love the looks I get for it and all the albums I got off here. Keep it up guys, I really do enjoy this stuff.

Haha, sounds like all the right looks, then!
Glad you love the music, good luck at the warehouse, for sure.

The more mellow tracks aren’t so much to my taste, so not as good as Next Gen for me. That said, that EP was /amazingly/ good, so it’s a tough act to follow and this is still a great album. Keep up the good work Doc, Scrub Club and all of Doc’s collaborators!
