Lyrics for Dr. Awkward’s “Unlimited” album

Dr. Awkward - Unlimited

Unlimited

Welcome to the apex, welcome to the advent
Next Gen’s great, but the class was absent
And I cant have it, Doc’s a flow wrecker
Have to go and up the quantity, drop a dope record
Have to be the realest, no wannabe, pseudo drone
Like you little jockin’-ass Doc Naruto clones
Always authentic, I ain’t some PayPal buyer scam
Come so hard, your girl will feel it in her diaphragm
I spit fire, man, like I’m Dylon
I told you we’re the future when I spit it with the Python
You can feel the power when it’s bumping out your stereo
Was over nine thousand a motha fuckin’ year ago
A certified monster, the second-known gorgon
Flow so sick, you’ll never make it out to Oregon
They saying I’m cocky, call it braggadocio
They love me on the golden coast, eastward out to Tokyo

Help get __________ to Nerdapalooza!

Help get Dr. Awkward, Kabuto The Python, and MadHatter to Nerdapalooza, possibly more!

Due to an overwhelming response to our not-so-hopeful Nerdapalooza announcement last week, we must once again be amazed in the presence of you – our amazing fans, friends, and business partners who keep our machine oiled and running. When we told you that several artists from Scrub Club Records wouldn’t be able to make it to Nerdapalooza this year, you took quick action, showing us just how important it is that SCR rocks one of the freshest geek reunions and just how possible it is that your power can help get us there.

3 short album reviews by The Drunken Scholar

It seems to be a day just full of cool writeups.

The Drunken Scholar is a blog written by a dude named Kree and DS himself, both with degrees in English Literature / Writing. In other words, they’re big geeks and they like to rant a bit. Today, they quickly reviewed three of our albums and judged them based on a point system made from pints of alcohol. Yeah, they’re classy gents, too! Those albums would be MadHatter’s “8Bit Bullshit,” Benjamin Bear’s “The Bear Necessities,” and Dr. Awkward’s “Next Gen.”

Scrub Club mentioned on GeekDad!

We are truly honored whenever the three homies we have over at GeekDad / Wired write about us, and this of course is no exception.

Curtis Silver, the only ginger in the Modern Warfare SCR Clan, (haha) wrote an awesome article called “12 Geeky New Years Resolutions.” One of the resolutions is to support independent starving artists by spreading their free music and donating a bit when you can. Two albums of ours that were specifically noted were Benjamin Bear’s “The Bear Necessities” and Dr. Awkward’s “Next Gen.”

Please click here or on the GeekDad image above to read the full article.
