Artist: 2 Mello
Released online July 2012
Running time: 66:01
2 Mello's first full release on Scrub Club offers nothing but a pure Hip Hop experience.
Breaking through local, regional, and even nationwide influence, this album serves up unique flows and viewpoints over extremely well-produced, modern Hip Hop-style beats. Tossed into the mix is an infusion of true soul and R&B - oh yeah, the dude can sing, too.
Listen in as Mello, an unlikely emcee from Kentucky with an over-stimulated mind, gives you music that you can relate to, no matter what part of the world you're from.
All of our music here at Scrub Club is free. However, if you enjoyed this release and would like to support our label, please make any size of donation to help all of our artists get new merch and promo items, book bigger shows, and get better equipment. Much love to you all!

If you're reading this, then you successfully navigated the Internet and found my debut album, available for free download in what most would call a "hella deal".
"Super Producer" is not the first album I've created, but it is, by far, the one I am most proud of. What you are playing now is my committment to the world that yes, I am really going to do this music thing. I am going to promote, even when it seems like no one is listening. I am going to play shows, even if no one comes. I've spent ten years of my life getting to this point in writing, producing and musicianship, and damned if I'm going to act like all that time didn't mean anything.
The pixel art on the front cover was created from a photograph of my city: Lexington, KY. It is the bane of my musical existence. Here, there is no strong Hip Hop following, and several good producers like myself are drowned by legions of wack rappers with absolutely no talent, thinking we are only there to give them a step up. But we know we deserve something better, and that's what I and the other three Lexington emcees featured on this album believe in. Please, if you like me, go discover their music as well, since you are so good at discovering.
ALBUM THANKS FROM 2 MELLO
This is not just about me and my people. It is about you. The person who is about to hear some really impressive, independent Hip Hop. I love every one of you, and I hope to meet you while I'm playing a show someday. If you feel my stuff, or if you have suggestions, find somewhere to comment, tweet me, yell at me from across a room, whatever, let me know!
I'll always have time to listen.
-2 Mello, Super Producer
